Modern Urban Stay: Dtwn Apt &Patio

This apartment is fine, but it is worth noting that the listing does not accurately represent the bathroom situation. There is a single in-unit bathroom, but that 'room' does not have a ceiling. This bathroom is the result of a renovation wherein two new 'walls' have been constructed to create a 'room' in the corner of the apartment. These 'walls' do not meet the ceiling, which means there is zero privacy. I rented this space for a work trip with a colleague, and we were displeased by the lack of privacy. Solo travellers or families may not be as bothered. Note: The apartment does come with access to a second bathroom that has a ceiling, but it is down a flight of stairs, and it is a shared space (meaning it could be occupied when you need it). It's also worth noting that the parking situation is quite confusing. Even after confirming the initial parking instructions with Owen, we received a tow threat under the windshield wiper of our rental car. Owen did eventually sort this out, but it was a stressful situation that wasn't helped by slow, unclear communication. Finally, I'll note that the apartment has a reasonably stocked kitchen with clean beds and linens, and it is very centrally located.

Friendly, helpful host. Easy communication and access. Nice breakfast spot next door. Bus station behind building was not noisy. We had a great stay!

We loved our stay at the modern urban downtown apartment! Owen was easy to communicate with, friendly and available to chat with anytime. The location offered the convenience of easily walking around downtown to coffee, shops, diners, and restaurants. We especially enjoyed stopping in at Garage Taco Bar! A fun environment, pleasant host and waitress along with great food and drink.We love the decor at the apartment! Also, it had everything to make it an enjoyable stay, including comfortable bedding, and a full kitchen.We highly recommend staying here and we will again ourselves in the future. My daughter and I loved our weekend at the loft. The beds were very comfortable and the layout was perfect for what we needed. Lots of good food close by to walk to and we felt safe in the area.

Great spot for a short visit to Binghamton University.
